What it is
Aura is the product surface of HapticCore Studio: a full toolchain for designing touch the way a DAW designs sound. Creators author Apple Core Haptics (.ahap) locked to video and audio—events, intensity and sharpness curves, live mobile preview, and AI that proposes haptic patterns from the soundtrack.
I designed and built the path from a Rust DSP core to a Tauri desktop editor, iOS and Android preview apps, and the Aura web admin used to distribute haptic video. The bet is simple: if haptics are authored with the same care as audio, phones stop being silent glass and start feeling like instruments.
Why I built it
Most haptic tools are either toy editors or closed OEM pipelines. There was no professional, timeline-first studio that could take a video, hear the audio, and produce shippable Core Haptics with live phone preview. I built Aura so haptic design could live next to picture and sound, not as an afterthought in a settings menu.

HapticCore — for media teams, game/app studios, and accessibility-minded creators who need production-grade Apple haptics, plus the Aura apps that deliver those experiences to viewers.
Aim
Give authors a DAW for touch: frame-accurate events, curves, AI-assisted generation from audio, and a loop from desktop to a real device in seconds.
Goal
Ship an end-to-end haptic product—authoring, preview, export, and distribution—not a demo that dies in a notebook.
Hope
That film, games, and short-form video treat haptics as a first-class track, and that people who rely on vibration as a sensory channel get work that was actually designed, not guessed.
